Client requests
Review structured requests submitted from the client portal and open linked Linear issues from your dashboard inbox.
Alignear is a client communication layer for teams using Linear. Client requests are structured messages submitted from the portal—not created in the dashboard. Your team reviews them in an inbox and tracks linked Linear issues.
How requests flow
- A client submits a request from their portal.
- The request appears in Requests on your Alignear dashboard (newest first).
- If Alignear creates a Linear issue, you can Open in Linear from the request detail page.
You cannot create requests from the dashboard; they originate in the client portal.
Review the inbox
- Open Requests in the sidebar.
- Browse the list for new submissions.
- Open a request to read the full body, see which client sent it, and check the timestamp.
